What activities can junior high ‘green club’ do (besides recycling)?
I want to start a ‘green club’ at the middle school I work at. 6th-9th graders of low to mid income levels. What else can we do besides encouraging recycling at home and school.
Plant trees!
Have an hour where everything in the school (not anything super, super important) is turned off. Don’t do this when there’s no natural light.
Have a day in Home Economics where you turn your old clothes into new things.
In Art, make recycled sculptures.
